polaris tv

i was looking on the polaris world forum there was a post on the site a person said that he paid 400 euros to get his television sorted for the english channels he said it was great till the middle of the week when the channels went of he went to the site office next morning to report it they said that they will send an engineer out to look at it there will be a charge of 55 euros it is refundable only if it is a polaris problem

I am begining to think that a TV is a waste of money,

When a group of us inc 2 pensioners and a child  holidayed in Portugal. the villa we stayed in did not have a tv. but we spent great family sessions  during theevening playing cards, games etc.

I think it would be cheaper to do that. there was also a book shelf & visitors were encouraged to leave their book ( if it had been read) & swap it for one in the villa.

people would leave comments & it was interesting to see where people came from & how many times some books were read & bought back again
