General Advice - New Arrival

Hi to all

I am new to forum but have been following various threads for a while now in anticipation of arriving this Thursday. We are in Jardin 4 Los Naranjos no 294.

We arrive at approx 6pm and I was wondering if anyone knew the times that the supermarket is open till so I can get a few essentials as well as a few bottles of wine! If our supermarket is closed can anyone give me foolproof directions to Campasol which I know is open a bit later.

With regards to golf in the area and especially at Camposal are they very strict on handicap certificates has anyone been able to play without one?

I look forward to any replies and any other information that you think is useful for a novice.

Hi Slegg, camposol is off the motorway towards mazarron approx 7 minutes drive away, if you come off the sliproad and turn immediately left you will come to the commercial centre, the supermarket consume is open until approx 9.00pm but the english supermarket quicksave is open until about 7.30pm theres also a chip shop, chinese for takeaway, and an indian, pizzaria, alley palleys for fast food burgers etc all can be taken away.  you wont have any problem getting something to eat!!!!!!!!

As for camposol golf, they will ask for a handicap certificate, I will be out then if you need to borrow one then give me a call and I can get you one to borrow, but I must have it back!!

Hi Sue, you are in our garden, the supermarket on site is open until 9PM so you will be fine. When you arrive if you need anything dont hesitate to knock on our door.
