Terrace furniture, Loungers etc

I am astounded by the prices of garden furniture, Loungers etc.

Is there anywhere locally for reasonable priced stuff which gives VFM (only want mid range stuff, not cheap and not expensive)

We bought our table and chairs from Los Alcazares small shop where all the cafes are, really nice we thought middle of the range price wise. We also went to the  Sunday market in Mazzarrron and bought two sun loungers for 50 euros each we had seen them elsewhere at double that price and they will deliver if you want them to.

We've ordered ours from a Company in the UK and are getting it shipped accross.

We drove down to Stratford Upon Avon to have a look at the furniture before ordering. They're on an industrial estate opposite a Company who build £1m Yachts. Couldn't quite stretch to one of those.

They've arranged the shipping for us which has added around £500 to the cost of the furniture .We've ordered for front and back which takes up two pallets.

We're hoping to get it all delivered by May so if anybody wants to see it in the flesh so to speak send me a pm and I'll let you know when it arrives.

Hi Bull,

We bought the loungers from a small shop by mercadona in Porta mazarron , two loungers, two foot stools and a table E95.

so happy with them we got two sets .

They also have outside tables and chairs, Table - 6 chairs and a parasol E195.

On the same topic - when you buy a parasol for the table does this have to be white or can it be any colour you like?

Thanks for the replies. Is the mercadona in Pte Mazzaron the one on the corner on the left travelling from Bolneuvo just before the roundabout. If so I cant recall a furniture shop. Really interested in the furniture by the pictures and will have a big estate car this week over there. Can you confirm please.

Hi Paul,

Nope not there, its on the main 332 into Puerto de Mazarron.

As you come in on the 332 you will see the Mercadona sign on the right hand side.  As you come off the main road take the first slip road on the right that goes up the side of the block ( there are covered parking spaces in the right hand side ) the shop is the first (only) one on the left next to the entrance to Mercadona, it's full of different stuff and has the outdoor furniture at the back.   I think there are closing down/sale signs in the windows.

Ah coming from the cartegena end of Pte Mazzaron where the yorkshire linien shop is above the Mecadona. Is it the furniture shop with the furniture down stairs. i will look around there.

The shop is called UK Supplies and as I have said on a previous thread my missus seems to spend a fortune there , I thought that they were closing yesterday , but I am informed by her indoors that they are now open for yet another MONTH !!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun and please buy everything that they have !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Steve,

 Tell them that they might as well stay open for another month after that as well because there are quite a few of us Condadonians coming over for the Easter period and it might be worth their while. Also might stop your missis feeling charitable any buying up the rest ot their stock !!!

They have been closing for the last 3 months , so will probably still be open at Chistmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also got some terrace furniture from that shop last week, a decent lounger for €90 and the same table, chair and footstoll set mentioned below for €95. Good value but a bit of a job to assemble.

I also have my doubts about whether it really is closing down though as we enquired about a bistro table and chairs that were on display and he told us that it was sold but new stock was being delivered the following day. :)

Could anyone tell us if UK supplies is still open.

We will be coming over for easter and hope to get some sunbeds while we are over.

We picked up a lovely bistro set in Bricco on Campasol when we were out the week before last & there was quite a lot of sale stuff so worth a look if you don't want to ship from the UK & UK Supplies has been cleared!

Last time we went to Brico they were just starting to get summer stock in - it may be worth a look.

For BBQ's take a look in the Ferriteria in Camposol A at the back next to the butchers, they have a good selection at reasonable prices.
