Hi

Does anyone know the width, height and depth measurements for the fidge freezer and washing machine. I am looking at having them delivered on line and want to make sure we order correctly as I understand some people have had to move tiles to make a good fit.

Also, has anyone got experiences of Real Domestics who seem to be a Spanish Euronics centre.

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil

We had our white (silver ) goods from them. Good service, speak english and deliver on time, prices pretty good too. The dishwassher and washer spaces are ready to take a 600mm unit. The fridge freezer is ready for a 600mm x 1850mm unit. Debbie at the shop knows what fits where in the apartments because they have done so many. Just beware though our 2 bed gap for fridge freezer was 600mm exactly and the unit didn't fit but a word with customer service and they did it the next day. They had to move all the kitchen units down and cut the worktop down but woudn't have known they had been in afterwards.

Good luck

Mart

Hi

We are just about to go down the route of buying our white goods. Do you know if it's cheaper to buy them separately or get a package deal.

Also, you say your units needed adjusting. How long did it take them to adjust?

We are coming out at the end of March and were hoping to furnish whilst we are in Spain. Only there for 6 days though.

Rachel

Hi Rachel

Good luck with furnishing in 6 days, we did 1250 killometers in our week to furnish and managed about half. We finished the rest at New Year on another week. Its very hard work, well for a bloke anyway, but well worth it when you sit back and see what youv'e done.

Anyway it is cheaper to do a package that to buy seperates but you could also buy online thus saving a trip to that shop. we did that aswell.

It only took a few hours one afternoon for the PW carpenter to do the units. We left them there at lunchtime and when we got back from shopping at about 6.00pm they had finished and gone.

Happy shopping

Mart

Hi Phil

I used Real Domestic and I can thoroughly recomend them.  Ispoke to Debbie on the phone and email.  She would send pictures of the items.  They are always having some sort of deal on you can have individual items or packages.

I decided to go for Teka the same make as the oven so it all matches.

They had my keyholders number or pw , delivered and installed it before I came out!

Good luck!

Hi Mart

Sounds like Real Domestic are a good company. Will check them out ourselves.

If you have any tips you can offer for furnishings, would be a great help, we are real novices and are doing this furniture shopping trip with a 7 month old baby in tow who hates shopping, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Does anyone have an electrical supplier for light fittings? The package we've been offered is pretty expensive!

Hi there

Does anyone know if Eroski will deliver the electrical goods or is it up to yourself to collect them?  Also, is the nearest Eroski in Cartegena?  Their electricals seem to be very reasonably priced.

Thanks,

Malc
