Does anyone have penthouse photos?

Hi,

I'm new to this so bear with me.  I  will be out on 27th Feb to furnish my apartment and wondered if anyone had any photos of furnished penthouses so that it would give me an idea of how much space I have.  Anyone??

My initial reaction as well but believe me they are not small, the photos make it look that way but you have masses of room for everything you need and more.  I have a tv cabinet, 3 setter bed sofa, tub chair, lamp table, dinning room table and a tall display unit in mine and I reckon I could get more in but then it would look a bit crowded.  So please don't worry they are a lot bigger than they actually look and views to die for.

Hope you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get there.

Totally agree with Ali........I was very concerned what I had bought after seeing the show house photo's, but honestly they are much bigger in reality & actually take some furnishing, believe me......you will very pleasantly surprised

I agree with your comments  I was also horrifed when I first saw the pictures and wondered what I had spent my money on !

It is a lot brighter and larger than it seems (particularly if you have an end unit with the side window where the dining table is) - I do think the 2nd bedroom is a bit "cell like" as the windows are so high up but the major thing is the balcony / terrace size is great and thats where I expect to spend 80% of my time anyway.

Hi. We furnished our place in block 11 last week and are more than happy with the size. Photos always make places look smaller. We have comfortably fitted in two sofas (one a sofa bed), TV stand and large dining table and 6 chairs into the living area. It already feels like home (if only we were there) ! Good luck with your furnishing and hope to meet you at some point.

I was also worried about the size of the apartment. The main thing I noticed when over during a snagging visit, was that the ceiling height is 2700mm high in the lounge, 300mm higher than a std UK build. This gives the impression on the photos that it's a bit narrow but at 3000mm wide, it's actually a good size.
