Solicitor Required

I am due to complete on our property in a few weeks time, could anybody recommend a good Solicitor, preferrably one that speaks clear English!

I used Eugenio Pedrano at Mare Nostrom, they were based at Torreveja, Alicante. 

Found them to be really good and helpful

 I used Professional and Legal Solutions in Puerto De Mazarron, not too far from Condado de Alhama. English receptionists and Antonio the solicitor seems good too, as we had no trouble when using them. Quite painless if the truth be told, their number is posted below,so no need for me to and Jean and Sally, were very helpful. Best Wishes. Geoff.

i didnt bother with a solicitor.never have when i have bought new on a spanish community.saved myself a fortune.

 Two of my friends didn't use a solicitor also, so it doesn't seem to be necessary on Condado de Alhama, I had to complete via power of atorney so had to use one. Sounds like George can afford to get the beers in, Cheers......... Regards. Geoff.

Also used Abad Abogados in Los Alcazares. Teresa and Javier are excellent , came back quickly to enquiries. We just wouldnt purchase without  a Solicitor - new or old build, UK or abroad. In the bigger scheme of things it was was few grand to spend a fair amount and be certain. Since completion they have till been available to answer queries- as we are not bi-lingual thats been useful.

Abad Abogados are quite closely linked and promoted by PW.  The main man there is the same bloke (I am almost certain) who has got the contract for the resort management.  I have no doubt, therefore, that they certainly get the sale through quickly!!!!!  No harm in that though.  Any lawyer must be better than the numpty I got whom, fortunately, no-one has recommended here......................

We were offered 8 different Solicitors by our agents but chose Abad ourselves from info I got elsewhere. What chance of finding a local Solicitor without some connection to PW? But we didnt know about the link to RPM- will try to find out more.

All I can say is that we used Abad Abogados for our purchase and they have been absolutely fantastic. They have helped along the way, resolved issues and advised us in such a way that we have not had to worry over many of the questions we've seen posted on this forum. We have recommended them to a number of people and they have taken on a number of their issues and resolved them satisfactorily. I think the head of the firm is in someway linked to RPM and, if so, thank God ! We may actually have someone with some nouse involved in the company. Unfortunately, one man doesn't make a company so I'm sure there will be issues but hopefully everything will pan out in the end. If anyone thought it was going to be perfect from day one they were living in a dreamland. We must resist making the mistake made at La Torre and other resorts and be patient whilst fighting our corner.
