Good news for sierra golf course

Hi every one interested in the running of the course  Today I had the pleasure of meeting a professional golfer called "Dave" and the good news is that as from tomorrow (01/04/09) he will become the resident professional for SG.later he will be joined by two assistants to aid him in the running and necessary changes to the course ie like sorting the sand problem out in the bunkers, the booking of tee off times, He also said once the office has been fitted with a alarm system the office will be kitted with top class equipment. He also intends to issue identify cards for all SG residents who play the course both for pleasure/competition which will determine our green fee's. and dont forget he will be on hand for any lessons we might need.

Hi Barry ,This is great new , I have also heard Masa are putting on a "park and ride " for SG residents for for trips into  Balsicas , These are starting today and the driver is a chap called Dave .

In reply to the good news :Starting today April 1st I am not working with Masa anymore, no more work in the golfstore.

O well, that's life, One men's dead is the other men's bread, or whatever.

You will be seeing me on site, because my husband and I love the bar of Mateo and we like all the nice people that we have fun with.

I would like to thank everyone who has been good for me, I won't post a list because it will never end and everyone that wants to contact me can ask Rob and Sue or Dennis and Susan, or Nigel and Elena to tell me.

For all those people that have my privat mobilenumber, please don't call me for problems on site, only call me with good news or a good paid job ,here in Spain.

   Being the first of april  I could'nt resist a joke which I hope will come true some time in the future . It does looks like things are taking shape though on SG and hope to see you all very soon and have that game of golf .

Thanks for your message, I  just want to confirm that the golf shop/office has been taken over by a professional team which include a golfing pro. I think they used to have the golf shop near the 3319.

Well the green fee have increased, for 9 hole is now 15 euros but for SGS members it's still 10 euros for 9 holes and if you have 30 mins golf lesson with the pro it's 20 euros but for SGS members it's 15 euros.

All good news for SGS members.

They are now booking your round of golf with tee times which means if you want to play the Friday Frolic you will have to have your name on the list in the golf office by Thursday morning at the latest (earlier if poss) so they can do us a block booking.

There are two bars open on S/G one near the driving range and one at the end of M14 no shop as yet, the golf course is open (9 holes).
