Sunday opening is very rare in Spain except during the height of the summer, usually July, August and September and then very few supermarkets do it.  However, the best places to find a supermarket open on a Sunday is where there is a market on.  The nearest one to Thalassa is Catalina´s in Villaricos, about 100mts on the right as you enter the village, next to the Galeon bar, she is always open till late, even on Christmas Day. Then there are always the petrol stations, but they are expensive.
