CAM Bank not paying BG's

I am one of the "lucky ones" with a BG, however CAM Bank are at present not paying.  No real reasons given.  Have been advised that this is just delay tactics and to commence proceeedings against the Bank at further cost to me.

Anyone else having problems with this bank?

Dunno about this particular bank but their conduct seems typical of the genre in Spain.

I regularly hear that the Spanish banking system is more highly regulated than UK banks and that is why we (UK) has less "fat" to weather this recession.

It doesn't seem fair that OUR cash languishing in Spainish Banks is supporting the Spanish economy when we ALL need OUR cash back in the UK to keep our OWN necks above the bread line. (excuse mixed metaphors)

Keep doing what you're doing sounds fine to me.

Cajamadrid are also guilty of not paying out on b.gs,now having to take legal action to leaver my money off them..doesn,t seem right they have had my cash for 5 years.!

Just noticed the post about CAM not paying out on Bank Guarantees.

We had out guarantee through CAM and asked for this to be executed in November had money back within 6 weeks in January no problems what so ever Lawyer did say when we were executing that CAM were quick at repaying guarantees and money would be back within 4-6 weeks surprised to hear this and glad we got out at the right time.  Hope anyone in this situation does not have to wait too long for the return of their money.
