update golfcourse,foro town center and isla

This would make sense as a temporary measure - use the foro as the temp clubhouse while you build the actual clubhouse in the original position and then renumber the holes to the original plan.

The golf course is definitely designed for the 9th and 18th to finish in front of the clubhouse and I really cannot see them changing that long term - but short term makes sense

Sounds like a great idea to me. They will at least be able to have a smart temp clubhouse with the added bonus that it will be right next to the bar and restaurant(s?).

Do you think this is a tempory measure? The Foro will have a lot of empty units, will Polaris really proceed with the building of that impressive clubhouse, when the Foro is still less than half full?

They spoke about starting to build it later this year, but I personally would be amazed if they start to build it next year.

i think jack nicklaus may not be too happy if they do not proceed with the original layout of he cource and design of the clubhouse especially having putting his name to it . i'd imagine they are contractially obliged to do so.

In the medium term I am convinced the course will play as intended by Jack (but not today Jack!).  The two loops of nine give greater flexibility which is lost by starting and finishing by the foro.

Short term though I think this makes sense for Polaris to fill up the foro - also puts business in the pub during the day.  I agree with Darren that we wont see a permanent clubhouse anytime soon - probably not until the market picks up and they are ready to release another phase of building work.

I agree, I realise that EOS makes it's money from ad's but this is annoying.  Perhaps if everyone emailed Justin and politely complained he may remove the feature.

 If this is the case  I can see this causing problems as I don't think the people who bought a Penthouse overlooking the 18th will be very happy, lets hope it is only a temporary measure.

I agree it's a good idea to use the Foro (forum) until the proper clubhouse is built as it will make that part of the complex a lot busier. Also people coming to play can park their cars there. I don't see why they would need to change the layout of the course - I'm sure it would be a short buggy ride to where the original first tee is planned and similarly back from the 18th green.

Using the Foro sounds a good idea for the Temp clubhouse.  Saves total cost, leaves the original site ready for work to be commenced at the appropriate time & puts people into the Foro to use the bar / restaurant.  It may speed up the development of the Foro too.  Seems a win-win to me

Ali, regarding the 18th not being the 18th........it doesn't alter views or the hole, it just changes the number of the hole for a year or 2.  Nothing else changes
