The local fiestas have slowed down this week, but now the Big Musical Events and Outdoor Concerts begin in earnest. There are so many free concerts on offer, that you could go out every night this coming week and not pay a single cent for any of it.
There are Classical and Dance concerts in Murcia, the fantastic Mar de Musicas in Cartagena, the festival of folk music in La Palma, as well as free walks and Theatrical Shows in Totana and Alhama and the inauguration of the new art exhibition in Mazarron, to which we’re all invited. For the sportier amongst us, there’s Windsurfing, Autocross, bike racing and Rock Concerts.

On the 4th July, The Mar de Musicas Festival commences in
Cartagena, including acts such as
Madeleine Peyroux, Marianne Faithfull and Eli Paperboy Reed & The True Loves.

Lovers of pop and rock are spoilt for choice this summer with a feast of festivals and concerts.
The San Javier jazz festival with true greats such as Wynton Marsalis, Steve Winwood and John Fogerty kicks off on July 4th.
For the latest news, including the mayoress of Fuente Alamo in court on corruption charges, the sheer volumes of illegal immigrants arriving from Africa by boat and an update on who has ripped the signs off the Camposol Roundabouts

does anyone know if Polaris have published any sort of Entertainment programme for La Torre during July as will probably go up there on a weekend for meal and a boogie if there's anything on. I called the call centre and I got - we'll send it to you next week (which I doubt).
