Opening of Foro

Hi All,

Anyone know if the Foro has now been opened?

We came home on the 1st July, the supposed opening day, and although there was loads of activity I could not see any way it was going to open that day.

The opening has been delayed by at least two weeks due to 'telecomms' issues which we are taking to mean that the infrastructure for the tills/credit card debits etc is not yet in place.  Current opening date now the 15th, but watch this space.

Much as I expected

Polaris told me today the opening was still on for the 15th and that the existing Supermarket will close two days before to allow transfer of stock and staff to get ready etc so if you arrive on the 13th and 14th dont expect to collect provisions at the Supermarket.

Does anyone know if the Foro is still scheduled to open on 15th? Is the small supermarket still open.

The current supermarket is actually closed on the 14th and 15th, not 13th and 14th. This is on a notice on the doors of the supermarket.

This implies that the Foro supermarket doesn't open till the 16th.
