Hi Malcolm,
I'm afraid I can't answer your question about measurements as not out at Condado. However, i just wanted to forewarn you that it is perhaps not too accurate to go by someone elses' apartment measurements. The reason I say this is that quite a few people in the Jardines, including ourselves, had a problems with the casing around the fridge / freezer 'space' being wonky (and the washing machine 'space' for that matter). Our kitchen worktop pushed into the side of the casing a little meaning our gap was noticeably wider at the top than the bottom. We ordered the same fridge - freezer as many others (from Real Domestic) as it was recommended as being ok but the only way we could get it in the gap was to remove the skirting tiles off the wall. The same had to be done for our washing machine and both are a very tight squeeze but in! So I would suggest you don't go for the absolute largest appliance you can find - allow some leeway. If the worst comes to the worst the skirting tiles come off very easily with a hammer and screwdriver and you can't see that they're missing once the appliance is in place.
Hope that hasn't worried you too much
Caroline
