Just wondered if anyone can help i am looking for a job near Condado and wondered if anyone knows of any vacancies locally or of where i can look.

Hi Debbie, a few residents have got jobs on Camposol, I read in the Spanish newspapers that Polaris are hiring for the supermarket, not sure what kind of work you are looking for, cause there is always room for key holders and cleaners on site. Once the resort gets busy there will be a need for help just to run the rentals for everyone I am sure.

Debbie, I would take the plunge and just come and try and find work when you get here, everyone we know living here has managed to find bar work or cleaning so if you are not fussy you will make it, we will help in any way we can.

 Spain has a very high unemployment level. There isn´t a lot of work out here & anyone thinking of taking the plunge should think seriously about the move & make sure they have enough money to support themselves in the interim.  I heard that when Best Wishes advertised for staff recently they had over 80 applicants for 1 job & they wanted a spanish speaker. Yes, I´m sure there is the odd bit of bar work about during peak times but would this be enough to support a person let alone a family.

Of course if you speak Spanish your chances of work are better & the following website lists job offers in the region of Murcia
