Just checked bank account and 101.29 euro taken out by RPM. without any notification or explaination yet again.
The last communication from them told everyone that the next payments taken out would be at the revised lower rate however this is the same monthly payment as before.
Anyone had any communication with RPM regarding this?
I have emailed them.. awaiting reply

We also would like to remind you that on May 2009 a new budget was accepted, as a result, the fees have been reduced from this month accordingly by the board.

April 2009 (amount refers to the previous budget)
May-June 2009 (amount refers to the new budget)

It makes sense a bit now.
Just checked again and they have now taken out another DD for 163.38 euro which I guess is for May/ June
RPM really need to get their communication sorted out so that everyone gets the emails not just a selected few.

We've just had 162.12 Euros taken out for May and June, that's a monthly rate of 81.06. We are in an upstairs apartment in Jardin 5.
This figure is higher than we were expecting. The last communication we had on the subject was from RPM on May 6th, with budget proposals for the next meeting - it was proposed that Jardin 5 upstairs would pay 71 Euros per month. That's 10 Euros less per month.
So this implies that at the meeting, the proposed budget was not accepted and that higher charges were agreed. Was anyone at the meeting ?
Has anyone else compared their recent charge with what you were expecting from the budget ?

Hi Phil,
could you send me the figures you have to my email address please ? We clearly haven't been sent these figures up to now. The figures in RPM's pre meeting document are the last we've seen. All upstairs properties in each Jardine have the same fee, and all downstairs properties have the same fee, but a different fee to the upstairs.

Hi Chris,
I'll send you the figures via email, but to clear one thing up, No - All apartments with the same number of bedrooms in a particular garden may not have the same fees. The fees are based on the SqM size of the apartments and not all apartments with the same number of bedrooms are exactly the same size, the size can vary by upto 2Sqm depending on the exact location of the apartment.
For example in Jardine 5;-
All 3 bedroom apartments are the same size with the exception of 433 and 451 which are the end apartments in block 1, these are slightly smaller, as are the two bedroomed apartments 434 and 452 which I assume are above them.
In Jardine 5 there are actually three different two bedroom apartment sizes, 602 to 614 in block 8 are the smallest, 434 & 452,are slightly bigger and all the rest are the same size. So even in this one garden you will find that people are paying different fees for what may look like that same apartment, but they are in fact different.
The exact sizes of the apartments, and the corresponding level 3 quota on which the fees are based can be found in the property deeds. These are :-
All Three bed except 433&451 = 0.592%, 433&451 = 0.591%
601 to 614 = 0.475%, 432 and 452 = 0.494% all the rest are 0.495%
Now as to why the 2 beds in block 8 are smaller I'm not exactly sure but there appears to be a storage area in that block which could explain it.
The figures RPM send with the meeting letter were susposed to be average figures for the garden, but they even got that wrong, they put 97 & 71 when it should of read 97 and 81 for Jardine 5. Ok I can forgive them a typing error or two

Nothing happened, the budget was accepted as proposed the only problems was with the sample community fee figures that were published in the meeting letter, like I say just a typo.

We have just had 126.51 euros taken from our account yesterday for Penthouse Bloque 1 so are assuming this is the community fee.
We have had no notification of this money being taken from our account or completed any direct debit. We have never been informed what our community charges are going to be. We only have the details of the extraordinary meeting held in May (we received this the day before the meeting and as we don't have a lear jet to jump into couldn't make the meeting but are eternally grateful for those who did on our behalf).
On the agenda it stated that the proposed budget for the penthouses would be around 68 -70 euros but block 1 for some reason (ours) is 73 euros.
I have e-mailed Lila at RPM asking her if they have taken the money and for what period it is for and how much will be taken next time. I thanked her for the courtesy of letting us know and explained that back in Britain this would be against the law to take money from someone's account without their approval. (I am right here am I - too late I sent the e-mail)
I am not holding my breath for an answer but hope to.

Amongst all the other documents you will have signed during the completion you will have signed a DD. If not RPM would not be able to take any money from your account. If you strongly feel this is not right then your bank should either refund the money or provide proof of DD.
126 Euro sounds like April's money with May and June's to come out shortly.
It seems that there is a bit of a mess with RPM and fees at present and the more we asist them get it straight and all start contributing to our community upkeep the better.
Agree completely that the fees are significantly more that first informed but then I never really epected them to be the 60-70 Euro we were given as the ball park gifure.

We have a 2 bedroom upstairs apartment in jardin 11. Just checked internet bank, €100.98 took out for April, €162.88 took out for May-June, previously had €302.93 took out for Jan-March.
Was told the last time that fees would be much less, its currently working out on average nearly €100 a month, and why can' they send an email to say when they are coming out as the first time they were took out hadn't enough money in bank and had to pay €30 fee for overdraft!! No organisation whatsoever, when is a set fee going to be put into place?

The penny has just dropped as to why we have never completed a direct debit. We gave our Solicitors Power of Attorney!!! However, it would have been nice it they had informed us some of the items they signed on our behalf. Feel a bit awful now sending a bit of a snotty e-mail to RPM but it also would have been nice if they informed us the money was going to be taken and for how much.

The dates for the 2008 back payments were supposed to have been discussed in the May meeting, don't know if they ever were? Guess we will know when the minutes come out?
