Trust Issues

Hi All,

Christmas in Almoradi was great! Very peaceful.  There was a race for both children and adults through the square on Christmas Eve and a huge model of bible stories.  As well as some locals singing in the square.

All is fine with Igfama........no one else appears to have moved in and it was very quiet.

I do think there is a problem with the electrics though - The main box was tripping about 6 or 7 times every day and we were up and down the stairs like yo-yo's.   I have no idea whats tripping it and flicking the switch outside does work.....but I wonder what it will be like when there are lots of people staying living there because its obviously not right.

Maybe we should get some emergency numbers put up by the post boxes?

We also noticed that we had a leak in our kitchen - nothing too serious luckily - the builders have not sealed the sink unit - just stuck a bit of glue around it - so water was running into the cupboard.

We are going back in February for a week - can't wait!

p.s  Does anyone have a digibox hooked up yet?  We tried one but could only get Spanish channels - apparently we have to move the aerial as its facing the wrong direction.   I missed being able to get the news!

Glad you had a good time over Xmas.  Did you have the traditional English dinner etc?  Or did you eat Spanish?

Bit worrying about all the problems with electrics etc, but hopefully will all be fixed soon.  I suppose we have to expect some teething troubles with a new building. 

What date in February are you going out?  I shall be there with my sister from about 7th or 8th.  I'm staying in Torrevieja from Monday 5th, as I'm ordering my furniture there, but as soon as they can install it, I'll be staying at the apartment.  So maybe see you if you're there at that time.

I now have my flight date for my permanent move; it's 14th May, so after that date, I'll be so looking forward to people coming over and meeting everyone.

I'll be interested in any replies you get re the television, as I'll be hoping to get English programmes too.
