Overseas Keys Property Management

Does anyone know anything about these guys or has any experience of them?

I've received their brochure and had a quick chat on the phone with them. They seem a little exensive although if they can advertise through websites like lastminute and expedia it seem pretty good. Does anyone have any opinion?

 I dont know how much they charge, but this system of charging an annual fee seems to be the "norm'. I have tried to find an agency which charges a percentage of the rental fee, rather than an annual fee, but with little success. I feel that if they are on a percentage, then they are far more likely to promote your place, than if they take a fee each year and sit back.

If they are so confident that they will get rentals - as they all claim - then why not work on a percentage basis?

If anyone can shift rooms then Expedia can.  Am not sure about an annual fee though as Expedia themselves take a (hefty 20% ) commissions on room sales and do not work on an annual fee basis??  Expedia and hotels.com are the same company.  Not sure how Overseas Keys can get Expedia on board though as they are ferocious about not being beaten on any other web price and if most other owners are renting cheaper via there own websites etc then Expedia are unlikely to sell your place.  Perhaps they are making allowances for apartment rentals as I can only comment from a hotel managers perspective.........
