Some positive news re the new airport.
Looks like the regional government have stepped in to provide a guarantee of 200 Million euros.This should hopefully enable the 'developers' of the airport to raise the finance to complete it.
Interesting note towards the end of the article acknowledging the importance of tourism to the area and hence the support for this project.
