 Hi All

Just returned from La Isla, after 5 days unpacking, and enjoying the weather, nice during day, bit chilly at night, place starting to fill up, and looking better every day, spent 2days unpacking, and must say rubbish collection something else, put empty boxes and rubbish out by bins, 2hrs later all gone, put another load out, 2hrs later all gone, 'amazing', lake nearly full, now they have installed mosquito devise, and if you look at lake at night you can see the flash of light, that kills the eggs, the RPM should take over running of Isla next year so expect letters soon, as far as 3rd swimming pools goes, it seems to have been put on hold, until the 1st golf course is complete, and then they will install 3rd pool and club house, as well as start on 2nd golf course, went to restaurant on sat, few people there, food good, priced bit high, but OK for now and again, would be nice if more people tried it, to get bit more atmospere, meet some really nice people there, (andy and mandy) from bristol, and couple from denmark, both have brought on isla, also spanish couple, delivery vans and workmen on isla every day, have taken more photos for people to view, showing, golf course, isla,just copy paste link.

Agree, nice shots Mike. Best of course yet I think. Still can see fair bit of finishing off required, but thing's are looking a lot tidier. As I reported in my early October post, it is going to be a year before we get landscaping up to the standard of the quality course we all expected & desire if Polaris are good to their word.

Frustrating thing for you La Isla folk, is that you will have to wait the same time again to achieve the views your extra premiums warranted. Hopefully, things will get moving again with course No 2 for you (and us all effectively) and eventually the Oasis will be appearing in the picture.

At the end of the day, I have a pal who put down over 100,000 euros on another development in Murcia before we paid our first instalment and all he has to show for it is some excavations for foundations. Now locked in mitigation case with developer not knowing whether any of that money will be recovered. We are the lucky ones really (considering the situation).

Great photo's, course looking fantastic, we are over for the new year to try it out a few times. Haven't tried the restaurant yet as it wasn't open last time we were there in Oct. Hopefully see you there one night.

Its looking good, can't wait to get over their and have a knock. 

Has anyone any idea of when courses two and three are to start and completion dates for them?  Could do with one of them being done asap, don't want this one to get battered through over use!

When over in Feb this year the guy in the sales office said that the 2nd course would be started as soon as the 1st one was finished.  Hopefully that means that we'll start seeing some movement there shortly.  He also said that the 2nd course would be ready a lot quicker because it was a Bears best and all the holes had been done before, therefore they knew what they were doing.  The reason the 1st course took a bit longer is because it was a brand new design and they had a few changes that had to be made thoughout the process.

Fab photo's - just back after one week we were swimming and sun bathing yesterday on Bolneuvo beach it was amazing and finished it off with "another" barbeque!!

We still didnt have a TV signal when we left - we reported it as soon as we got to La Isla they said there was a fault and would be a couple of days before it was sorted but couldnt get through to customer services to chase up - does anyone know what we are to do now!

We  have loads of photo's but after seeing Michaels probably wont post too many! My son has made me promise not to post any of him on the beach especially as I was reconised in the Clover bar from a previous photo!

We have just lit the fire here its pouring with rain and howling a gale! remind me what does Spain have that we dont?

Roll on 6 weeks time cant believe its nearly Christmas! I have sunburn and Mosie bites!!
