Well after what feels like months of work, we’ve finally got the new front page live which should improve navigation for all of you.
The new Where to Go in the Region of Murcia section will help you to find places to take the visitors and discover some of the amazing experiences the region has to offer. We’ve been visiting each place to make sure we can tell you accurately whether it has disabled access, if the kids would enjoy it, what does it cost to get in etc, and all this info will be added in now the programming is live. Just give us a bit of time as it’s a long-winded process!

 The new What’s On in the Region of Murcia section tells you about all the Concerts, Fiestas, Exhibitions, Guided walks, Music, charity and sociable things you can do across the region. We’ve added sort facilities so you can find all the things that will interest you easily and sort by area. To see this weeks offerings including the Outlet shopping fair in Lorca, The Cartagena Jazz Festival, free guided tours of historical sites, several new exhibitions and some free concerts
Leisure Activities and Sporting Pursuits will help you enjoy sporting activity in the region, either as a spectator or participant. Now its live, we’re busy adding opening times for local swimming pools, details about clubs you can join and info about where you can go and try new sports. This weeks sporting events include the San Javier Half Marathon and Sports Show, the Subida a la Santa rallyspeed trials with top Spanish mountain drivers participating in Totana and the motocross in Calasparra
Mainly due to the volume of enquiries from non-gardening club members and the problems locally with Red Palm Weevil, the disappearance of construction companies who were supposed to be maintaining public areas and the general lack of gardening info around here, we’ve opened up the Gardening News Pages to help you all with your Gardening Problems. We hope it helps. ( And cuts down on the amount of emails we get!)
The News Pages are just as busy as usual. This week those Somalian Pirates still won’t give the Spanish their tuna fishing ship back, Trampolin Hills has been forced into bankruptcy, the economic news would make your hair curl and the H1N1 flu vaccines have started to arrive. Just in time it seems. Over 99% of flu cases in the region are H1N1 positive!
