bad news of opening golfcourse on CDA

Dear Patrick,

Condado de Alhama golf course is meant to be opened in December, but we still do not have an official date. If you are interested in playing any of the other Polaris World golf courses, we will be pleased to help you.

I would like to inform you that we have a promotion at Mar Menor golf resort due to the opening of the 18 holes.

It is a 3 x 2. (110€ per person for residents in Polaris or 130€ per person for non-residents). The deadline is on the 15^th November.

If you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Have been around the course today on our new bikes- using the buggy paths. It looks amazing (I'm no golfer but can appreciate the design, layout, views and the lakes) My husband says the greens are in great condition but its true some of the fringe area's and central plots leave a bit to be desired. Probably a tad more landscaping needed here and there because we have greens, desert and a bit of lunar landscape plus a few area's that look like drop off spots for debris.

I am confused.

Where is this information coming from?

I delayed a visit from November until 16 December to be sure it will be open. 

Hopefully the  November opening date  will still be achieved.

For this year, Jack is not scheduled to make another visit to Alhama.

So maybe the Dec date isnt new news at all.

It has been reported to us that the golf course maybe delayed until December 1st, maybe due to the pro shop not being ready.

I know this is not good news to many but this is just a small delay, the course is looking fantastic and will open shortly.

Hello all,

By my reckoning, and proven by the delay in the opening of the Clover (delayed by approx 4-5 weeks from original date) and our new Restaurants (original opening date begining Oct) also delayed by approx 4-5 weeks, My expectations for the golf course opening will be around the first two weeks in Jan 2010.

Happily this coincides with my next visit, so I could still possibly be one of the first to play Condado !!!.

Disappointed to read that someone now thinks opening of golf will be as late as Jan 2010 - the sooner the better.  Can't wait to see the course open.
