Community Freesat satellite installation

Hi all

After reading the AGM minutes that were sent to me I read that a number of people wanted to have a Freesat TV satellite system installed at La Recoleta. I forone would be more than happy to pay to have this sytem installed. As a Freesat user here in the UK I can highly recommend this system with an abundance of channels and more lined up for 2010 including BBC iPlayer.

I contacted Jose the adminsitrator while over in Spain this week and he advised me that he had about 20 interested people and that he would be contacting all those who had expressed an interest early in the new year with a cost for getting this system installed. After speaking to a few satellite companies on the Costa Blanca the consensus was that he cost would be around 250 to 300 euros for each apartment and that a 2.4m dish would need to be installed somewhere on the complex.

I would ask all those that expressed an interest in getting this system fitted to push the administrator to get this system fitted sooner rather than later in the new year and not let this project fizzel away and not get done.

I have installed a system here at La Entrada for the whole Complex . If you want details email me at gerard@euservices.biz.

Cost is around 300€. It works fine and is owned collectively by all who contribute. The single dish would need to sit on a block facing roughly directly out to sea (west).

I would be happy for you to see it working.
