I just received a letter via email, from Gesfin Prop. Mgt., regarding security.
Applies to 'La Recoleta'
Heres a copy;
Dear owner,
Aiming at security in the complex a lock has been installed in the
pedestrian garage door from the side of the stairs and the lift, which can be
opened with the same key of the entrance door of the block.
As you can notice, the lock is only on the side of the dwellings, and not on
the garage side following the Spanish fire prevention rules. According to
the Spanish rules it is absolutely forbidden to install locks on the side of the
garage because a person who is in the garage must be able to leave it
immediately in case of danger.
The time for the garage doors to be completely opened for the entrance of
the cars has been reduced. So, please we ask all the owners for waiting
until the garage door is closed in order to avoid the entrance of other people
on foot through this way.
With these measures nobody without a key could have access to the garage
and then to any apartment in the complex.
If we keep the garage’s doors and the blocks´doors closed we will enjoy a
safe complex. Last summer, due to the irresponsibility of many owners
leaving the blocks´doors opened with stones, everybody had access to all
the apartments. To avoid this situation, please do not forget to ensure the door
is closed at your entrance.
