dont give up

dont be put off with your experience with la tercia. spain is a wonderful place to live, low cost of living,weather etc. i can honestly say i do not regret making the move. most of the big builders have folded or are about to fold, so peinsa is no exception. the big lesson for us all is not to buy off plan. with the hassle of the last few years behind me i am truely glad i made the decision to come to spain.

Totally agree Beadso, we are so pleased our experience didn't put us off coming to Spain.  We have just purchased a villa at Pinar de Campoverde and are settling down in our new home.  Definitely buy in an established area, what you see is what you get.  We would advise anyone coming to Spain to rent first, take your time and have a good look round.  What seemed a good place to live originally at La Tercia wasn't right for us, and only renting there for a while made us realise that.  The lifestyle in Spain is wonderful, we love it here.  

Hi Folks Really glad things are going well for you. We sold our house in UK in July 08 and went to Spain and rented for over a year looking round after La Tercia fell through but then decided Spain was not for us after all. So after getting our deposit refunded we have returned to UK and bought a house here. We will definately go back to Spain for holidays but not to live.
