Smoking ban in Spain

We have heard from a very good source on the other forum that the final licence was granted yesterday.  They now need to register the individual plots which will take around 3 weeks.   The site office said yesterday to another purchaser, they need to put the tarmac down and erect street lights before they can start to build up, but they will be able to do the foundations while that is happening. 

At last it's full steam ahead.  Brilliant news

Just to let you know that Steve and I (Rhona) are from Formby, not far from yourselves and bought a 3 bed Paula I think on plot O??? It's great to hear news of any developments, as nothing ever seems to be happening there whilst other developments appear to be springing up all over the place, seemingly without the probems we're all experiencing at La Tercia!

We are hoping to go out there about May 25th for a week, so will do our best to find out what's going on. I find it totally depressing when I read that completion dates keep getting pushed back and back. Hopefully, there will be an end in sight!

I would love to hear from any families that are relocating. We have 2 children, 7 & 4, and although we initially bought as a holiday home, we seem to be thinking more and more about permanant relocation.

Hi Rhona,

It's nice to hear from you.  There seems to be a few of us purchasing on LTR from the North West.   We (Dave and I) are also purchasing a 3 bed Paula on AB7.  We can't wait to see one built, they should be really lovely, we were attracted by the huge solarium on the roof, and we wanted a bungalow style.  It seems that things are starting to move now, so hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel at last.  The last photographs I saw which were on the "other forum" they had a delivery of lamp posts, and they are saying they have started the foundations.  I think it would be a really lovely place to relocate to if you did decide to take the plunge.  I know there are other families who are moving permanently to LTR.
