Best Value Car Insurance?

Hi - A friend of mine has just bought a small car to use at CDA.  Has anyone done the car insurance trawl for prices etc yet?  Any recommendations?  Thanks.  Arlene

Hi Arlene. Try www.Balumba.es. Thats who I'm with. I was recommended by a Spanish friend, and I found them to be quite cheap. Much cheaper than Direct Linea.

IM TAKING MY UK REG CAR TO SPAIN IN APRIL ,FOR 6 MONTHS WILL I GET A SPANISH INSURANCE COMPANY TO COVER ME OR WILL IT BE A PROBLEM.

Hopefully your uk insurance will still cover you in Spain.  I also don't think you are allowed to exceed the 6 month on UK plates so you may need to watch your length of stay too.

Most UK car insurance policies (maybe all??) automatically cover you in all EU countries. BUT... it could be only 3rd party only! For full cover, you may need to get a "green card". This will give you fully comp cover for up to 90 days.

Check your policy...or give a call to ask them. Could be that you're covered already
