Property Insurance

Hi all,

I'm in phase 2 of Terrazas and hoping to get the long awaited phone call in the next few weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations for buidlings insurance?

Me again,

as a follow-up to the buidling insurance question, having done a bit more digging, I've heard that there may be a degree of cover provided by The Community? Does anyone know if this exists for Terrazas. Also, when looking at getting quotes they ask for the rebuilding cost - how do I calculate that when mine is 1 apartment in a block of 32 (or whatever the number is)? Can we use some formula based on the purchase cost?

Try www.intasure.com they made it very easy for me when I did my apartment with them and they were very reasonable

Have you had a valuation conducted on the property and report issued? The cost to rebuild will be quoted in the report therefore giving the figure needed for insurance purposes.
