Furniture Shops

We are looking to replace a sofa in our apartment and are also looking for a trundle bed for our spare room.

Does anyone know of any good furniture shops near enough to Condado.  Hoping to find something without having to drive into Murcia.

I'm sure there were some good threads on this in the past but I think they were a couple of years ago when everyone was moving in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Shane,

Have looked in most of the shops in the SanJavier region. Make sure you shop around and check the prices.

Recommendations : DFS - speak English , will deliver and set up.

Castor Muebles(down the road from DFS towards Dos Mares) - will also deliver and set up.

You could also try Cartegena but have no experience there. The only shops I found in our nearest vicinity were light shops in Alhama.By the time you have driven to San Javier you may as well have driven to Murcia to the Ikea and surrounding shoppping mall.

I had a list but of course never kept it once we did the initial furnishing.

We bought all the furniture for 2 apts from Spanish Furniture Supplies, whose premises are in Pilar de la Horadada, exit AP7 at Jct 774, just past Murcia airport. Not the chaepest but good variety and excellent services and they are in Condado on a regular basis.

There are a couple of furniture shops in Mazarron and Peurto Mazarron that are worth a look at.  'Gines Navarro' which a on the left hand side of the road when you head from Mazarron centre to Peurto Mazarron then opposite Lidl in Peurto Mazarron there is '4 plumas'.  Don't be afraid to ask for discount and if you don't see it in the shop they have loads of catalogues in '4 plumas' to order from

We used Matt too and have been really pleased with everything we bought from him.
