Heading over in a week for an easter break and was wondering if anyone was using the pools.
Have a 3yo who will no doubt want to go into the pool no matter what the weather.
Wondering how cold the pools are at present.

I was out with my 18 year old son in January, and I foolishly took his challenge of swimming a length.
Lets just say the cold of the water takes your breath away, and I wont be doing it again. at that time of the year.

We are out next week with 3 kids. It was really cold last easter time so this time I bought 3 Osprey shortsleeved/legged neoprene lightweight wetsuits for them to enjoy the pool this time. They were from a co on the net and were only 12 each. Happy kids= happy parents I say!!!!

Last Jan i took a dip in every pool............. yes it was cold (heart shocker cold) but it was a challenge that was made and took on... i should have got sponsors !
Last Feb i was in again, albeit the missus wouldn't after she dipped a toe in, her kids had those half cut dry suits and they were fine, however in Feb last year the sea was ok, no different to UK in summer, so any days of 20+ get down to the beaches !
Last March/April i thought the pools were ok if you kept moving and by May they were absolutely fine.
Depends on your tolerance level for hypothermia

Was there on Wednesday and the water is effin freezing!!!! It is still getting very nippy at night so unfortunately the water doesn't get chance to warm up in the sun during the day and stay warm.
Shampers is clearly mad and obviously has a higher threshold level than the rest of us!!! I'll leave it with you....... on a positive note the weather was starting to warm up nicely when I left on Wednesday

Its warming up slowly at Condado 22-23 degrees and have been informed that is going to get warmer over the next few days - the spainish summer has finally started - we hope... if not we are coming prepared - we are bringing our childrens wet suits with us for Easter and my husband has ordered one for himself (as he said "If we are bloody paying for the pools - i'm bloody going to use them) but the only thing is that my husband is not on the small side - he's going to look like a Telly Tubby in his black wet suit. I shall be staying inside the days he braves the pool (through imbarrisment) - I warn you all !!! .................

If I remember correctly from last year, the pools were OK by May if the weather in April is warm. They stay that way right through to the end of October and in the hot months are an essential cooling facility in the afternoons. I must say, once the future of Polaris is sorted and more residents have moved in, the suggestion made some time ago on this forum of a heating system being installed in each pool or at least a number of them would be really useful for those who wish to swim all year round.

As the Foro was not built in its intended space between Jardins 5 & 7, opposie the tennis courts.
I wondered if, f inancialy it would be cheaper to have one built there, larger of course & there fore only have to pay for oee heating system If that proved to be viable, then maybe a spot could be found to cater for the penthouses & the jardines @ that end of the resort.
Just a thought

Well ive lived on condado since August and the pools were nice that time of year i have recently been in and its very very very very cold, however after 10 minutes of trying to get warm your body gets used to it, I find it amazing how kids dont care wether it is hot weather or snowing haha
