CAM account money transfer - help!!!

I hope that someone out there can help me - please!!

I am trying to do an online transfer from my CAM account to another CAM account & to complete the transfer I need to insert something in a box after the following statement;

'Para realizer la operacion, introduzca el valor de la casilla 30 de su tarjeta CAM Directo'

I have spoken to some Spanish friends of mine, who say it doesn't make sense!!  We've gathered that it is something to do with entering a number from the card, but we're not sure what number.  I've tried googling, but it just comes up with a lot of Spanish sites with the word 'para' in them......  Also, I'm sure there used to be a little online help/chat icon on CAM Direct, but that seems to have disappeared

I'm hoping that someone out there has done something like this recently & can offer some advice & help.

When you open a CAM account,  for security, and specific to your account you receive a plastic credit card sized plastic card, the su tarjeta CAM Directo',  with 2 sets of numbers for example number 3 next to it another number

If you want to do a transfer you look at the card and it will ask you for the number say next to number 30 on this card and if the number answer is correct you it will then allow the transfer

If you do not have this plastic card you will nit be able to do the transfer

You can try calling telephone banking but again they will ask you for the card corresponding number

I seem to remember having to collect all cards, books etc from my branch on the next visit out. CAM Bank are excellent on the phone so just call them, gives you the option of English speaker when you ring

I lied .....  I have found said security passcard (after some searching I may add...).  I also managed to find the online help/chat window - I think I was having a senior moment!!!

Either way, I ended up resorting to plan B, but will know for the future.

Hi Sazza

Just a tip we have found useful, especially with bank related stuff - google Babel Fish translation and follow the link ( I did try to post the link but EyeOnSpain stopped me!) and either type or cut & paste the spanish text into the translation box - click Spanish to English - then click translate!

It's not perfect but it has given us some useful pointers when trying to navigate our way around the web site/bills/letters etc

If you go to the CAMs main web page, you will see top right, bienvenidos, venvinguts and welcome.

Click on welcome and from there on you will get all info in English.
