Hi
Just to let everyone know that when you get round to having satellite tv installed that there is no need to drill holes or waste time trying to feed cables through the various plastic pipes as most of the time they are blocked, the two cables that come in to the back of the TV can be connected to from outside the property.
There are two coming in to the plastic panel behind the front door about a metre in and one cable is spare so you can keep one for Spanish TV (watching childrens cartoons is a great way to learn Spanish!) and the other can be easily connected to outside and connected to a dish to receive sky or freesat.
The signal strength is very good in this area, although if residents where thinking of sharing a community dish you would be best of with a big 2.4 dish although for individual use a 1.4 is more than adequate with a good LNB & receiver.
The cables come in to the property from the back garden just to the left of the back door, it is then just a case of cutting one and joining new cable, this saved me at least an hour's work, the new cable from new dish can then be inserted in to this panel by drilling a small hole. (Expertly carried out by my customer despite my fear of it cracking)
THIS IS NOT A SELF PROMOTING POST JUST WANTED TO GIVE SOME GOOD FREE ADVICE.
