I have a ground floor apartment in block 1.I was informed by my keyholder that we had water coming through my ceiling into my lounge and ensuite. The water was coming from the above apartment D1.This leak has come through my ceiling causing a large hole, ensuite bathroom damage and through the electrics. My keyholder could not get an answer from the above apartment but the water then stopped. The following week we went out to Spain to view the damage and rang our insurers.During our week there the leak occured again, this time I went up to the apartment and there were tenants there using the shower.( the owner of this apartment apparently has it on a rental site.) However the tenants would not give me the rental company details.I am really worried as we live in the U.K and each time a new tenant goes into this apartment and uses the shower, down comes the water.I have contacted the administrator who does not want to know.He would not give me details of the owner but said he would contact him by e-mail and telephone.I have since been told that there is no answer from the owner and no-one has keyholder details. Why are people not responsible enough to leave these details if an emergency occurs. One of us could have been killed with water coming through the electrics. We visited the president and she was no help, I left my details with her, she has not contacted me or even asked which block we were in.I just hope whoever voted for this person has a flood in their apartment and goes to her for help. The administrator would not give me any details for the president, how you are supposed to contact people working on your behalf or to ask a question is beyond me.My insurance company need access into the upstairs apartment, how they can obtain this is a mystery.I note from the minutes sent for the forthcoming AGM that the owner of this apartment is in arrears, therefore I probably will get no satisfaction from him.I am very unhappy with the way the administrators have NOT dealt with this.My next step is to contact solicitors.
