does anyone know....? And your opinions please!

I dont want to be accused of advertising, again!!, but thought this was important enough for everyone to see. I was strongly advised by my lawyer to arrange for front door locks to be changed as early as possible after completion as apparently 30% of all break-ins happen within 3 months of completion and involve the use of copied keys. I did this through SunshineInteriors who said that  if I supplied the locks they would change them so that no-one else could obtain copies of the keys.(I kept hold of the keys until the locks were in so even their man did not see them) They even gave me a discount for letting them have the old locks and keys which they could use at other developments to keep the next clients costs down. They also supplied and fitted a shower cubicle, bath screen and light in the storage room. They were all done very quickly and in my opinion at a very good price. I am also considering their maintenance plan which covers 3 calls out per year (handy if you are letting and don't want to have to come out to sort problems. Definitely worth a try.

Just had info re phase 4, block 4 Arenal 2000 has recently sold out to cajasur bank which means that all the original contractors for the fourth phase are now being replaced by new builders, supplied by the bank. Thats where the delay of completion lies.You have two options, one is to except that it´s not going to be completed until may and re-organise the rental bookings you have.  There is no compensation being offered.  The other option open to you is to cancel the sale and request your 30% back which they, the bank, are offering to all buyers.
