Does anyone know when the location for the new theme park will be either decided or told to the public, I have been trying

to see a date for the announcement online.

When they officially announced it they said that further annoucements would probably be in the next few months. Am sure when any news is made available there will be a flood of press releases with the official news.......and a flood with the unofficial news ;)

"The project Paramount's out yes or yes. I'm not worried." So today rejected the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, before the microphones of 'Starring Murcia', Punto Radio, the possibility of the construction project came to theme park under at the implication of Jesus Samper in the alleged plot of urban corruption in the city of Murcia.

"This project is fully shielded and channeled" repeated Cruz, who has indicated that it wants to think "that none of the movements of the last hours with the ultimate goal disturb or hinder the smooth running of the Paramount project, because it would be a badness of a character so miserable and unfair to the interests of the Region of Murcia which certainly would disgust "

Regarding the situation of the employer Madrid, Cruz said he was "concerned by the very person of Jesus Samper, a person who has" a tremendous affection she has shown its seriousness and loyalty over time. " Jesus Samper "is quite enthusiastic about the project, and is leaving the skin on it," he concluded.

Can anyone make this a bit cleaer?

Is that Samper has been arrested for corruption but Cruz says this wont affect the Paramount deal? If so I think this is concerning and taints the Paramount concept for Murcia.

Yep that's about the jist of it.  Cruz says it should not effect the deal, but only time will tell.

Obviously this investigation must have been going on for some time and with Semper now involved in some way with the Paramount deal they have decided to act quickly. Its probably best to get it out of the way rather than have it come up later down the line.

The company responsible for promoting the Paramount project is scheduled to decide next week the site of the cinema and leisure park. The two municipalities that have been finalists are the Alhama de Murcia and Fuente Alamo, as has been told this editor. The public company Murcia Region Tourism and Development Institute, next to Santa Monica Financial company owned by Jesus Samper, designate the final location after a screening process between the many offers that have arisen in recent weeks by municipalities, business associations and political parties. In the end, as already noted, and the shaft Alhama Murcia-Cartagena are the ones in the final.

Both the regional government as Jesus Samper said yesterday that the investigation opened on the New Condomina planning agreement, which involves the owner of Real Murcia, will not affect the development of this initiative and undermine the credibility of society Murcianos Emblematic Projects recently created to manage license and attract investors.
