No doubt if you are buying a place at La Finca you will be out and about looking for furniture. I think we went to every furniture shop in the area and I drove my husband mad dragging him around! Almoradi is obviously the place to start your search and I must admit most of the shops there had pleasant and helpful staff who spoke english. However, a warning! DO NOT BUY FROM LA MUEBLERAI - I thinks that's the right spelling! -in Almoradi. Amongst other things we bought some bar stool there - bright red to brighten the place up! And after a couple of uses one cracked along the seam. We took it back and explained first in English (only to be told no one understood!) then in Spanish as I am fairly fluent! They were most objectionable and told us that they didn't stock the stools any more and that they we must have misused them!. Funny that as they had the same stool on sale at the back of the shop!! They refused to change the stool (which cost us £60!).
So, please buy your things next door or at the shop opposite Lidl (I forget the name!)

We live near Milton Keynes and went to the Villapak showroom to look at furniture for our bungalow on La Finca. The staff were very helpful but their way of working makes it impossible to make a direct comparison of prices of furniture sold by other companies. No item of furniture in the showroom is priced. They put together a package of the style you want to suit the size of your property, add a few curtain rails, a kitchen pack etc then give a total price. However, we got as good idea of the quality. The service seems to be good, as described by the rep anyway. They install and fit everything including electric lights, ceiling fans, outdoor lights, shower door, all within the quoted price.
We aregoing to Spain in March to visit Muebles Gea in Los Montesinos, which has been recommended. Anyone have any experience of them?

We used Garcia on the road to Torre before Carrefours. The staff all speak good english. They are very helpfull. They do everything from furniture, white goods, garden furniture - the lot. They turned up when they said they would. Everything was unpacked and assembled and they cleaned up after themselves. Excellent service and not bad prices.

I agree with you Buz. We sued Hnos Garcia and cannot rate them highly enough! Reasonable prices are balanced by the quality of furniture on offer, and superb service. I mean - superb. Arrived on the button, unpacked, built, checked, cleared up afterwards. This was after we had asked them to delay delivery by 6 months, and only gave them 1 weeks notice to deliver.
A level of service we rarely experience here in the UK!

Have also used Hnos Garcia - excellent service and reasonable prices. Bought good quality furniture from Muebles Estyl XXI in Bigastro - held it for us for 6 months then delivered promptly. The men arrived late [8pm] and unloaded, put furniture together, and cleared up. Couldn't fault them.
