Are you talking about the pergolas or the actual building. If it is the building It might look great to you but what has it done to all of the properties around you, Yours will make all the properties around you look bad which is not fair on other owners considering it is a job that we already pay to get done by the community every few years.

I apologies in advance if i misunderstood you, but your post was not very clear.

Hi we were told that it will be painted every 5 years but will it  ? pw have already made it clear they want nothing to do with us unless they can rip us off some more .Is the painting money coming out of the community  funds or are we going to have to pay more?? for it to get done .I for one am not getting told what i can and cant do to my place i have been ripped of by pw .i am paying for my place so i do what i want to it when i want

Hi

The wood was painted in the summer, I meant the whitewash on walls, the community paints the apartments every 5 years, mines was dirty and I decided to have it painted, I  like to maintain my property, what others do is up to them,I do not want my property painted by the community contractors, as they will not take care and there will be spashes everywhere

You will proberly  have set up a painting fund within your community fees, this is being looked into on la torre now .I have painted a few properties on la torre, one problem you will come up against  is when you paint the outside of your apt you will i get shading with the property next  door or up stairs, unless they will agree to have there property painted at the same time. but unless all the block is painted you will allways have this problem. Villas are ok and easy too do. Also i would not bank on them being done in 5 years. unless you  community has plenty of cash ???
