Menta Apartments 2 Problems

Because we have been visting some Menta properties, where we have not been involved in furnishing, we have found 2 problems that onwers should be aware of.

The first is in the entrance hallway where the ceiling light requires either a switch or a better solution an IR sensor fitted so that it will work. There is some exposed wiring on the wall, left of the wiring for the AC which is where this should be fitted and this wiring is constantly live. Cost for these sensors around €40 supplied and fitted

The second problem is with the ventilation holes in the utility room which allow water to enter the room resulting in possible damage to the wall skirting and anything stored plus some birds have entered the property, one nested above the boiler

Yiu should fit some vents on these holes to prevent this allowing the airflow, that is required for the boiler but stopping rain or animal entry

Soory a couple of additional things that I neglected the first which effects everybody is that a representative from Housing, the admiinistrator, is now based onsite in an office to the left of the rental office. This is where you now go to report any problems with the communal areas, gardens lifts block cleaning etc

The second is  know general problem with the lift and electrics in some blocks, especially again the Mentas, after heavy rain the RCD earth breaker which is located in a cupboard on the ground floor of the blocks, can trip which means the lifts and block lights stop working

It is very easy to reset this breaker and I have reset this for people a number of times.
