I have already changed over to the cheaper rate. All I was saying was that the M.C . are in a better position than any indivual person to get information. I was agreeing with de 1007 who was saying things along the same lines

this info is extremely useful. Do you what the lower tarif is called, if the high one in called VERDE?
I will look at do this when I come over next.

I would like to thank you for your support. I thought for a moment that nobody was catching my drift. I think Ptan's point is that it is hopefully on the agenda to review what is on offer and perhaps make it available to the general community as with the insurance. You can see from prior comments that the information regarding the lower rate enjoyed by Naranjos is not general knowledge within the Jardins. Perhaps Mileniun could advise owners of the situation. It may be available on our main Condado site but this is of no use to me as I can never get on to this site. I certainly do not see any problem in Mileniun gathering the base information and putting it out there for everyone, would have thought that is what managing the resort was all about. Looking after the communal areas is fine, but you do not get much more communal than the community itself.

Hi Ptan,
Many moons ago you were kind enough to assist me in logging on to the community site and sorting out my cookies etc. It worked for a day or two and then I was locked out yet again. Checked all my setting, password etc, simply gave up.

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread, the information is really useful. We genuinely hadnt realised that different parts of the resort were on different tariffs, but as people wont have expected this why would it be discussed?. The one time we saw it being raised was when M. Parsons posted something about discovering his tariff was high and he'd changed it but we read that as him discovering his tariff was inexplicably high and making enquiries.
Anyway, having found a bill that says 'energia verde' hopefully we can try to change anything that needs changing.

we would like to know how to do this on line.
after user registration the username and passowrd they send does not seem to work.
is there any other way of changing this tarrif to the basic rate

Hi Rich & Bops,
Slightly confused. When I registered with Iberdrola online they did not send me user name or password, I entered them myself. I seem to have registered without any problem. Don't know that it has been a useful exercise, I have had no response to my request to renew my contract on the lower rate. Perhaps I have misunderstood your last post. Did you use the link in my earlier post?

I have sent an email but not expecting an early reply as this time of year is a busy time in Spain as they celebrate now more than they might on the 25th Dec- but hopefully they'll get to my email in due course

Hi Rich,
Went through procedure again, like you I was asked for Tax ID or Passport No & Contract No etc. Filled all this in again and hit continue. This time, like you, I was advised that an email with user ID & Password would be forwarded. True to their word within seconds they both arrived. Logged in using new ID & Password, was then asked for Tax ID, as I had given my passport No. I hit the dropdown button selected Passprt No. instead of Tax ID, hit continue, and bingo we're in. Don't know what I did first time around.
