Good News for all of you left with nothing to show

The constant bickering is not healthy.

I am pleased for those who have managed to retrieve their deposits whether this is by BG's or other legal action. However, the majority are not in that fortunate position or even in a financial or emotional position to pursue.

It is disappointing the lack of communication from either solicitors or HDT since the proposals were passed. This silence creates  a vacum which some will try and second guess.

The spainish legal system has let us down, unfortunately I am having to test our system for breach of contract of selling my own home (cash buyer, exchanged but never completed).

Tony or SARC, perhaps you can ask HDT to contact us all and let us know what is happening ?

JA , I am not sure what your motivation is now as you have your funds and I am sure a lovely property in Majorca. It is was me, I would move on and enjoy and put this onging saga behind me .....

Interesting to read that you attended all the meetings in Spain as well as in the UK.  I assume this means  that you were at the one in Jumilla?  What did you make of it?  Did you manage to speak to any of the Spanish buyers?

SARC have a meeting with HdT this month, so it will be a good opportunity to tell HdT that buyers need to be given regular updates.

the reality is nothing changes with regards to San Jose and HDT. They do not have anything to tell us except more spin and delay tactics.  They will carry on excusing themselves from not making progress and blaming others i.e. Banks for not lending money, Shepards not willing to sell land etc, etc. 

And they are able to use and abuse the Spanish legal system to give themselves safe breathing space whilst protecting their own assets. 

Maybe in five or six years time the Eurozone economy will be strong enough to revitalise Santa Ana and other locations but for now nothings changed in the completion of Santa Ana and nothing will change in San jose / HDT attitude to us purchasers. Yes HDT and San Jose are very clever operators when it comes to looking after themselves !!

I don't really have time to check the community discussions so much these days but I was rather horrified at the way that "julie anne" is both abusive and offensive in nearly evey post she makes.

This sort of input is totally pointless and helps no-one.

If anyone every finds comments offensive then please click the "Spam" link any post so that we can take action on them.

Hi all,
As I see that many of you had problems with the deposits you gave to Herrada-San Jose, I must say that my lawyer in Spain won my case regarding the guarantees. As most of you, we didn't have any individual guarantees to our name, they were just general guarantees.
I know that every client has the same right as me so I asumme that you can recover this back too.
We won against the banks Banco Pastor, BBVA and SGR and they already paid our guarantees back.
