For the sake of Alhama I hope it comes and I believe it will but I dont think it will even begin for at least 5 years. There is no way a company like Paramount will start a new park in a county with a failing economy. Has anybody seen the airport at Corvera? I have and nothing is happening. Not a worker on site!

To be honest living in Alhama just now is actually not a bad thing. Yes its quiet but the busier areas with lots of people have so many people out of work that crime is a big issue with houses being broken into very often.

I think it will take a very long time for Spain to recover to the stage it was years ago.

I was under the impression that workers were working 24/7 on the new airport

I think that puts a bit of a damper on things. 

I had fingers crossed that we would improve our travel time sooner rather than later

i seen it mid week and it was a ghost town. was a few weeks ago and maybe they are working now but i find it unlikely!

Seems the presentation didnt go well at the trade fayre  in Madrid and Cruz was not there as he's still recuperating from his injuries sustained last weekend when he was beaten up. Jesus  Samper was there apparently but has said the decision will not be announced until Cruz is able to return to work. This is now reported on the other forum but I had also read two similar news reports yesterday which also said the promotional video wasn't shown and there's a general feeling of disappointment.
