Pergola Staining at Condado de Alhama by Mileniun-Levante

Hello!

Does anyone happen to know anything about Millenium Levante beginning to re stain pergolas throughout the site of Condado de Alhama and billing you once complete unless advised otherwise?  We were under the impression that this was included in the monthly service charge!
 
Apparently, there is no way to stop them doing this, unless it has already been re stained & prices are speculated to be around 130€ to 160€ per apartment.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks for posting Phil. We'd missed the update on 12th Jan so were just waiting to hear if ML had decided to go ahead and do the pergola's. We checked our's last visit and felt it could wait till we are next out, so are relieved to read it wont be taken out of our hands.

 There are a number of people on site that will paint pergolas, at the end of the day go with who ever you wish, the main thing is that they are protected correctly.  The going rates seems to be 3-Bed €60, 2-Bed €90.

At the end of the day the choice of product is down to you, you get what you pay for, the main thing is that 1) the wood is treated and 2) there is a uniformity of colour within the garden.

Which brings us to the next point.  Not all the Jardines use the same colour.

Jardine 8-13 NOGAL, but lower down some Jardines change.    La Isla - NOGAL.   Los Naranjos mostly NOGAL but some Caoba.  Penthouses - CASTANO,  WENGUE is on the gates only.

Yes I know, but before you all start moaning please remember that this is not the communities fault, Polaris did the original staining so the lack of a single uniform colour was down to them.
