internet cafe

Are there any internet cafes in Roldan, Torre Pacheco, St javier or los Alcazares? Want to feel that I can stay in touch with all my affairs  while staying on terrazas . Will in time need to get or find out how to set up low cost broadband in my apartment, but as wont be there for more than a few weeks at a time dont really want to pay out €37 x 12

Lisa's bar in Roldan which is called "La Battalla" has free wireless internet so you can sit there with a pint and your laptop and do your work. You might have to keep refreshing your drink though.

Hi henryreed, There is an internet cafe on La Torre, you get the cards from the supermarket or bar. Andrew

You can get pay as you go internet in your apartment I think Polaris Telecom call it Areanet. Just have to buy cards from Supermarkets and log in with them.

Thanks everyone, La Battalla sounds like a really good option, only problem may be getting back to Terrazas after a hard afternoon on the laptop.

Get friendly with a home owner on la torre, the owners are voting on weather to a have a small increase in community charge, if they go with it, all properties will then have internet. NO MORE AREA NET CARDS THANK GOD
