Car hire recommendation

Will be in Murcia 3 days in April; Want to pick up a car from Alicante airport; and return it to Murcia airport. The different airports is not a problem but been checking out car hire seems that they have a new way of scamming us. i.e Give you a full tank of petrol ( no doubt @ premium charge) and you have to return it empty which is very unlikely on a 2 / 3 day trip.

Anybody recommend cheap car hire wher you can return the car with same amount of fuel that you picked it up with?

We usually book our car hire through Economycarhire. They give you several quotes. I don't think you have to pay for a full tank when you only hire for less than 4 days, but I don't think when you only have the car for less than four days that they will let you pick up at Alicante and drop off at  Murcia. They show quite a lot of different car hire companies in their quote, so you maybe able to contact their websites direct. We have always found this company reliable. If you put their name in on the search engine it should come up, they are based in the UK.
