Water cut off

 Does anyone know why water has been cut off on m20 and others?

hi mate the water has been cut of to anyone who does not have a contract with the water company ..anyone who has not got a meter will have to set up a contract then a meter will be fitted and you will have to pay for the water ..i have been told its now illegal to be on builders water or electric not sure if true but it looks that way with the water..................dennis

On the subject of water, garden taps and hoses are going missing...we arrived at our villa after midnight to find our water turned off we managed to turn it back on only to find water gushing out of the pipe where the tap used to be, I had a spare bung so was able to plug it.

Over the next couple of days we were told that builders were the culprits and that they had also taken John's hose just before he died......but he was seen and the hose brought back.

On a much lighter note we had a fantastic two weeks (much too hot weather) but whose complaining and a big thankyou to all ressies for the warm reception we were given.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but apparently it is MASA who has not issued the required water bulletin to auguas de murcia for them to set up the water contract.  To set one up you will need:

 copy of your title deeds,

 copy of NIE 

Habitation Certificate (First licence occupation)

 What do i do if i dont have a habitation licence yet?

I don't know the answer sorry.  I'm not sure we have either, but we have a mortgage and an electricity contract, and were told that we couldn't have these without the habitation licence, who knows as this is Spain.   Let me know if you'd like the contact details of the excellent company now finding all this out for us - which I wish we'd done ages ago - hindsight's a wonderful thing.

Not sure how it works as when we signed jan 08 we had both water and electric but no habite cert that came through about 4 months later.

So this may be a way for the authourities to blame it on the builders !!!

others who are neighbours didn't get electric till years later they only found out they were on builders by chance not sure about water!

We were getting water  bills via the masa place or golf shop but for over a year have had no water bills and never had electric so not sure.

In case this helps anyone......our solicitor has now got the water bulletin that Aguas de Murcia have to have to set up the contract and install the meter- Grupo Masa had it.  

 I wonder if anyone could help me with the full address at Sierra Golf.  I am trying to get my water connected/metre fitted and have been asked by the water company for the address of my Eagle.  Apparently the address originally on the deeds is not sufficient.  I am on M15.  I have a feeling road names have been allocated over recent months.  

If anyone could advise the full address of M15 (between the Spanish bar and the pool bar) I would be very grateful.
