One very important point I omitted was, look at the colour of the terrain/soil surrounding the urbanisation “stay away from anything grey”. This is virtually dried out clay; if the moisture level of clay is correct and constant, it is a very stable load bearing medium. Where the developers have moved it around and dried it out subsidence and foundation movement will eventually occur.

If you want the “real” Spain then buy in the villages, urbanisations are basically “Little Britain/France/Germany etc”.
