Just to let you guys know you can get a free bus from la torre if you want to go shopping.Here is the info
El Corte Inglés are running a courtesy bus from La Torre to their department store in Cartagena.
The bus will run once a week throughout the ,summer starting Tuesday, 26th July, through to 27th September. It leaves Mar Menor Golf Resort at 10.00am, arriving at La Torre at around 10.30am, and will return at 4pm. There will be two stops – one at the InterContinental Hotel and one near the back gate.
You can shop at Spain's favourite department store in the morning, then enjoy a leisurely stroll around the town or along the harbour front, followed by menu del día at one of the many restaurants, before returning later in the day for your journey back to the Resort. El Corte Inglés have promised to hold any goods you buy in store, so that you don't have to carry bags of shopping with you.
