Completing End OF Month.

Hi,

We are completing at the end of this month and just wondered if anyone could give us a few pointers about the village, surrounding area and things they have found good to do on site and about.

The nice bars and restraunts in town etc.

So happy to read that you are completing at the end of the month and I am absolutely certain that you will not regret your decision to purchase on Corvera Golf & Country Club as I have the utmost faith in it becoming the fantastic development that we all hoped it would in the near future.

I could spend ages going through the individual attractions and restaurants etc in the surrounding area but rather than bore you with ALL the details, I will just say that Corvera town, although small, has 2 supermarkets plus one tiny shop selling everything, a couple of clothing shops, butchers, bakers, hardware stores, several banks, at least 4 or 5 restaurants and/or bars,etc.etc. In fact if you look closely Corvera has evrything you would require from a small Spanish town.

I am sure you won't regret your decision to complete. It has been a long road for some of us (I bought in May 2005!), and the last couple of years have been very VERY frustrating but at least now things seem to be progressing.

 We completed just over a year ago, so pretty much sorted now, and totally enjoying everything after such a long haul.

Hi carl, welcome to Corvera, first thing to bear in mind is that completing doesn't mean you can live in it..it spain it comes without light fittings and shower screens and the gas isnt commissioned so I would recommend setting those things going first. Markets are great every Sunday morning and we just love Cartagena, lots of outdoor music concerts go on in summer. Best website to check is www.simplynetworking.es as that gives you what's in on the areas. The plazas in Murcia come alive around the cathedral after 9 and there are some gorgeous restaurants. Lots of cheap tapas in Corvera itself and el Coto is very local and does great lamb. Kema2 is a great place to start if you are nervous about getting started. Are you out at the end of sept? If so we can show you around.

If you need a cheap place to rent while you are sorting things out let me know as we can ask around for you if ours is full.

 Thanks, we are out mid september but are staying on La Manga as we are sorting all the bits and pieces out, lights etc.

All of the furniture will be there so the visit after we will be staying there.

Hope to see a few people on resort.

Great glad you have more more sensible than some! Is someone helping you with your furniture etc? Do you know nueva condeminia mall? That's quite good for all the bits and bobs, good luck with your trip. Our friends Derek and Sharon are out then, if you try out mikels cafe in the evenings I am sure you will bump into a few people

Last year our place sat empty at Christmas but this year we have 2 lots of people wanting it..what a difference a year makes! Am sure yo will jus love being an owner on Corvera, it's very friendly if you just dive in and network.
