Has anyone had any dealings with this shop?  Looking to purchase a putter for my set in spain.  However looking at there online prices they are over charging by a silly amount, some of the iron sets are £100+ more expensive than what you can buy them for in the UK.

Is there anywhere else that you can buy golf equipment from near CDA for UK prices

Golf clubs in Spain are unfortunatley much more expensive than they are in the UK and it is often cheaper to buy in the UK and bring them over as sports equipment or people like American Golf will, for an order over a ceratin value ship for free

You can however call into the shop and do something that people rarely do which is ask for a discount or price match, most shops will offer discounts, they want your money and at pesent it is out if season

The shop in Basilcas on the C3319 also has a good range of 2nd hand clubs for sale plus the other place to look is The Golf Factory in Los Alcazares by RODA

I visited the Great Golf Co on a recent visit to Spain and could not believe how much more expensive all golf equipment was.

Everything from balls, pitch mark repairers, gloves to clubs were priced way over and above UK prices.

Have you tried Condado Golf Hire?  Not sure if they will have what you are looking for but they do sell clubs.

Great Golf is actually worth a vist, in my view. I got an excellent trade in deal for my clubs (Callaway) and bought (Ashworth) clothing cheaper than I could get back in Scotland - so it's not all bad news. If you can wait til you're out it's worth a visit, as is the golf shop in Los Alcazares (firgotten the name - anyone recall it?)

It used to be called LA Golf but it is now the Golf Factory and their main store is in Campoamor on the N332

As I said in my posting you need to ignore the published prices and they wil both do a deal

The Great Golf Compnay is also a good place to bokk dicsounted green fees for other courses

Try Directsports in Campasol.  Its a new venture started by Shaun who runs Kennellys (Irish bar). He's professionaly converted the rear of the premises into a great sports shop. I noticed all his prices below what you'd pay elsewhere. He also does second hand golf equipment too. Well worth a visit..

Great Golf had good deals the couple of times I went.  I only wanted a cheaper second set for my holidays and got a very reasonable set and bag.  Also picked up some accessories on a different visit.

I think if you are flexible you will get a good deal...but if you are looking for a specific model the prices may not be as good.
