Story goes that everything in the original plan will be provided in the new clubhouse with the exception that it will be one storey building rather than two storey. Not sure what the outside seating/dining area will be like i.e. whether it will be on the roof of the building, optimising the views or whether it will be ground floor only.
This is where Corvera could do themselves a huge favour by explaning all the good news instead of continually sitting on their hands. Virtually everyone in busines recognises the power of positive messages, but then there is Corvera.
Still hope this will be as good as promised and all indications are that it will be. Brilliant at the moment.

Hi Simon,
Darren, another owner, sent me the following message which he received from Jesus:
"In the underground there will be a very big parking for buggies. In the ground floor there will be offices, pro shop, restrooms etc. In the first floor there will be a bar, restaurant etc."
Going by the above, I'm not sure what has happened to the spa/gym. Also I'm sure two restaurants had been mentioned previously. I suppose we will have to wait and see when it opens. Unless someone from Corvera would like to comment directly.....
Regards
Anita

Just played 9 holes and had a better look at the progress of the building work. The clubhouse and adjacent building are HUGE. Sure there is enough room for all that was defined but, as Anita says, it would be great if Corvera could post some info.
The clubhouse does have an upper floor and a large terrace to take advantage of views.
Looks like I should have gone to Specsavers before my first comment!!

The plans must be available and as usual there is no info out of Corvera. You would think they would be trying to promote it fully given their predicament with non completers!!
What is for sure is that they will cram as much as possible from the sales brochure into this facility in an attempt to aid their legal battle.

I have just returned and spoke to Pablo regarding it and he said underground will be a large car park, ground floor pro shop, changing rooms and spa area, top floor bar, place to eat and vip seating area.
Finished xmas but need licenses before opening.
Had a good visit met a few people and the resort was a lot busier than my last visit in June.

To all Corver golf owners or potential owners.
This is going to be amazing when completed. I was only over there a few weeks ago and it was coming on nicely. I took myself around the building and found it to be massive. When completed its definately going to be one of the best club houses in the area with the facilities etc. Who will not want to stay on the resort with this in mind and the airport under 5 mins drive away.
If you are wondering if you should complete on your purchase then I would go for it. The resort is fantastic. I always feel at home when I am there and everyone is always so friendly.
I just read on the internet too from the government that they are predicting Murcia to have a boom over the next 2 years will all the acivity going off. It looks like murcia will be well sheilded from most of the downturn across the rest of Spain. So much constrcution still going off around there.
Im happy to have bought on the complex. Even though times have been tough it will be totally worth it.

Hi All, I know the smooth PR machine that is Corvera Golf will soon click into gear and we should all get bundles of info about the facilities at the new clubhouse directly from Corvera Golf, but in the meantime does anyone have any more news about the facilities that will be on offer when the new clubhouse opens supposedly at Easter 2012 ? Also i presume that Corvera intends to open the golf course to the general public at the same time, does anyone have a rough idea what the green fees are likely to be and whether Corvera property owners are likely to get a discount ? Happy Christmas to all by the way.

For an idea of Corvera's plans for green fees, perhaps one only need look at Caledona's other development, Roda Golf. Those with houses on the urbanisation there have found that they can get a better deal on green fees by going through an agent like Costa Blanca Greenfees than the 'discount' they get for the pleasure of having a home on the estate.

Hi all,
We got back fromCorvera yesterday evening, after another great week out there. The weather was very good, with daytime temperatures of between 16 and 21 degrees! It was cooler in the evenings OK when the sun went down. The resort was fairly quiet, but we had a great time anyway. Very relaxing and good fpr recharging the batteries!
I have put some more Clubhouse photos up on this website, there are four sets of them and most were taken yesterday. Most are views of the outside of the Clubhouse, in particular I suggest you check out the last photo under '77880' which is a great shot of the Clubhouse taken from within the central part of Phase 1 - it looks really well against the backdrop of the mountains behind. The inside shots (coded '1564')show just how far they have got - you can see wiring hanging from the ceiling and plasterboard being put up plus the rooms are starting to take shape. Some great views out from inside also, looking across the golf course.
I did ask in the Corvera Sales office as to a completion date and they said 'four months', but Alex was on holidays and the other two guys there did not have great English.
Happy New Year to all, looking forward to a great year for Corvera with the Clubhouse and airport both opening!

Just returned back to london yesterday after a brilliant week at Corvera. Work is progressing very well on the Club house. Played few rounds of golf and the course (very playable) is not getting the attention it should have due to obvious reasons. Acceptable under the circumstances.Someone needs to advise the green's staff to remove the grass/weeds (new growth) from some bunkers.........Airport is almost done....you can see the runway and all the runway lighting structures. Brilliant!

Good to see the photos and progress - I agree the shot of the clubhouse against the backdrop of the mountain is a stunner! Also great to see beautiful blue skies and sunshine in December, how I wish we were there...
Happy New Year to all Coverians :-)

Hi all Sorry cannot post new photos of All amenities within clubhouse yet as my main computer is down. Jane And I were priveleged to be given a guided tour of the clubhouse with the architectt, will post photos when comp mended. Within the clubhouse is a mini-market, staff offices,pro-shop, gym, massage room, steam-shower, sauna and a good sized spa-pool which will look out onto the 9th fairway. The mens and ladies changing rooms are also on this 'entrance' level. Upstairs there is a very good sized restaurant with lounging area, bar and 'show' kitchen. The restaurant is split into several areas with both internal and outside eating in mind. There is also a VIP meeting room on the corner looking out over the 18th green as well as grass terracing for summer in front overlooking the 9th green. The lower basement is for buggy and staff parking. It really is built like An iceburg with much more below ground than is visible from above. As said will post updated internal photos asap.

The architect is confident that the build/fitting out will be complete by the end of February. Personally I would not expect it to be fully completed until beginning of April. As for official opening.............?

Visited this weekend and played the course 3 times. Course is very brown (which happens at this time of year anyway) but is in pretty good condition. Greens have been hollow tined and slightly sanded and are in very good condition and as expected slow. Although whole course could do with a few days of rain. Dead trees are being replaced. Top level lake was being filled yesterday. Green staff working today.
Club house - Must have been about 20 men on it yesterday. Hive of activity all day, Ready mix concrete being delivered at 7 o'clock ish when dark. Lots of granite being delvered. Spa beds visible - inside pool. Sauna complete, Steam room nearly complete. Kitchen fully tiled. Still pile of work to do.
