It now looks like we have a taxi service in the village. It has been parked at different locations in the village since we arrived on thursday. The number displayed on it is 607 722 698. Havn't used it yet but will keep you all posted if we do.
Best Regards,
Ray & Ann

Yes Pablo has taken on the mantle of sole licensed cabbie in San Juan.
His dad who passed away a couple of years ago (Rafa) had the business before him.
He stopped at my house to explain on Friday and give me some cards.

Great news this, the bus trip into Aguilas can be `interesting` (if the driver realises there is a new bus stop..that is!!)
We almost got suck in Aguilas one evening but thanks to a local, ex taxi driver who tried to knock up one of his mates and eventiually drove us himself, we were ok....
Apparently there are no Taxis on Saturday night from Aguilas....worth remembering.
Cheers,
Roger & Stella

We saw a bus at approx 12-00 (midday) passing south thru Terreros with Cartegena - Almeria on the front. Our friends also seen it on a different day at the same time. Does anyone have any info on this and does it go the other way? Salu, Ray n Ann
